“WE ARE ONE” A
Celebration of Cultural Diversity “WE ARE ONE” is our signature multicultural gala, brought to you by ThinkGlobal Arts Foundation as part of the annual “Celebration of Peace” in Naperville! Saturday, November 14th 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Wentz Concert Hall, at North Central College, 180 E Chicago Ave Naperville, IL 60540 - (630) 357-1685 FREE,
family oriented fun showcasing multiethnic song and dance cultural
performances featuring: Peruvian Jazz, Gamelan Irish Dance, Jackson
Tribute, Mosaic Choir, Hawaiian Dance, Maori Poy Ball, Ghanian Arts,
Peruvian Dance, Kung Fu, Bhangra, Tahitian Dance, Disney Drummers,
Circle Dance, Native American Peace Drum and more. “WE
ARE ONE” reaffirms our thinking on diversity while appreciating and
applauding the complexity and uniqueness of humankind. You will
rejoice in the cultural diversity of our communities, recognize even
deeper our common heritage of innovation and creativity”.

Celebration of Peace 2009 The Celebration of Peace event is spearheaded by ThinkGlobal Arts Foundation in partnership with the City of Naperville, Districts 203 & 204, North Central College, and prestigious organizations across the city. The Celebration expands the definition of Peace to include issues of personal reflection, service, reconciliation and the environment – and organizs free activities to educate and inspire residents to embrace Peace in their daily lives. Naperville’s Celebration of Peace is part of a larger movement by the United Nations and communities across the world to create practical acts of Peace during a shared time frame for the children of this and future generations. |
